CliffsThe East Side of the lake is rugged and beautiful with magnificent cliffs that extend down into the water, at spots the water is 225ft.deep just a foot off shore. It’s hard to believe that trees can grow on these sheer rock walls, they have a bonsai look to them and combined with the emerald green moss surrounding them, make a wonderful vista. In some areas minerals dripping down have created an effect locals call inkspots. In others, the cliffs form faces like sculptures. Inkspots

While out boating you must watch for birds, many varieties of ducks, loons, osprey and eagles live in the area. Watching an Osprey dive for fish is a special treat but keep your eyes peeled as the eagles will try to steal it from them. Boats for rent
